Multiple Channels

As a manufacturer of high quality, innovative aquarium products we value the established distribution chain and the individual sale rep channels. Entering any distribution chain is a process that dose not happen overnight. It is for that reason we find it necessary to sell wholesale directly to legitimate aquarium and reef retailers and to establish a relation with individual dealer reps or rep groups that service both the retailers and distributors. As we develop the relationships with the distribution channels we may relinquish our direct contact with retailers and dealer reps that work solely with retailers within distribution territories of specific distributors. That decision, while not uncommon in the industry, will be carefully weighed against a sales rep or sales rep groups current production and their real potential for growth within a specific territory verses what the distributor relation can offer and provide. Relinquishing any territory that is covered by a sales rep that is meeting and exceeding our expected gross sales and demographic expansion targets will not be taken lightly but may occur it the benefits to Reef Insane out weight the current growth potential of the dealer rep or dealer rep group.

Distribution Channel Purpose

We actively seek dealer reps or dealer rep groups with which we can steadily grow our demographics and sales. We are willing to give exclusives based upon quarterly or shorter time frames with automatic extensions of those time frames if agreed performance milestones are maintained.
